Year 3 trip to the Natural History Museum

Our Year 3 trip to the Natural History Museum was a fantastic experience! The children explored an earthquake simulation, participated in a fun, hands-on workshop, and shared their knowledge about volcanoes and earthquakes. They also marvelled at fascinating fossils, demonstrating impeccable behaviour throughout. A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this day possible!

Year 1 Pears trip to the Transport Museum

After Cherries successful trip before the half term, it was Pears turn to go to the London Transport Museum this week. The classes enjoyed exploring how travel has changed through time- from horse powered carts up to exploring the new Elizabeth Line. They also enjoyed the ‘all aboard’ area. A highlight was getting to be the driver on a London bus!

EARNT charity

Last Sunday the wonderful charity EARNT gathered over 60 volunteers to do some groundworks on our site. Hagan coffee kept everyone fed and fuelled so that our helpers had enough energy to revitalize the wilderness garden for forest school and give the canteen a renewed look with a fresh lick of paint. Weeding the perimeter and nursery, gathering leaves in the car park, and repainting chalkboards were all accomplished by “a community of change-makers who believe actions speak louder than money. “We are so appreciative to EARNT, The Hagan Project and all the volunteers for all the hard work and help they provided us with. To be made aware of upcoming projects and ways to get involved with EARNT, please visit earnt.co.uk.
